Magic Dreams

Whenever Mummy tucks me in whilst putting me to bed

She always speaks of magic dreams to fill my sleepy head

She tells me something every night to help me get to sleep

I like to think of magic dreams - it sure beats counting sheep

My dreams are full of adventure - each a different magical land

I've ridden purple horses and I've walked on silver sand

I've been to fairytale castles with towers that reach to the stars

I've floated on candyfloss clouds and I once had a party on Mars

There's goodies like gumdrops and icecream - it's free and all for the taking

And you can smell chocolate-chip cookies, but no-one is ever seen baking

I'm with all my favourite toys and I play with all my best friends

When I'm in a magic dreamland, excitement and fun never ends

I have a secret treehouse, high up in an old,oak tree

The pixies and fairies come visit, with currant buns, cup-cakes and tea

I have flown with giant, rainbow butterflies in a sky that is clear and blue

And I've swum among the dolphins in the sparkling ocean too

I've rode a magic steam train - all the way to the seaside

Past fields of dancing sunflowers, oh it's such a lovely ride

Once I was a cowboy on a quest to find some gold

And a prince who fought a dragon - I was very brave and bold

Tonight I'm sailing Eastbound - I'm a captain on a ship

'Last call for China - all aboard the Merry Kip!'

Whatever you wish to see and do there really is no limit

Simply close your eyes - make a dream then picture yourself in it

Making magic dreams at night just takes imagination

If you use your mind you'll find a wonderful creation!
